MIP-521 German Hefe II

One of two hefeweizen yeast offered by Propagate Lab. This particular strain produces a whole array of esters and phenols from pear, to banana, to apple. In addition, with the correct fermentation temperatures and mash profile, the yeast can produce limited esters with an increased amount of phenols such as white pepper and clove.
